I am currently using Content Access to control permissions to certain node types based on roles, but I am finding that I also need to control access based on taxonomy. If I add Term Permissions to my existing site, will it work with Content Access? Can this be done?

This module won't interfere with content access at all. However, the UI isn't integrated either. So you should be able to use it without any ill side effects, if that's what you're worried about.

If you're looking for some kind of integration, could you provide more details about what you'd be looking for?

I guess I was simply looking for the best of both worlds: a system in which I could set permissions by node types as well as taxonomy terms. I tried using both, but the term permissions didn't seem to have any effect, so I opted for something else entirely.
