I can not seem to find where you turn on the tabs in the header like the sample of waffles... any suggestions?

I'm guessing the original poster closed this because he figured it out, but that doesn't help other users experiencing the same problem! I was having similar issues with a site that was already set up with Waffles (and already had some tabs showing), and here's a few things that I figured out:

  • Make sure that "Primary links" is activated under admin/build/themes/settings/waffles.
  • Go to admin/build/menu/list and make sure there is a menu there that contains the tabs that you want at the top; if not, make one.
  • Go to the "Settings" tab on the Menu page (admin/build/menu/settings) and set the source to "Primary Links" to be the menu from the previous step (the one that contains the links you want to be in the tabs.

As I said, I figured this out from a site that already had the tabs set up, but hopefully it will be useful to a user who's starting from scratch, too.
