I have the module installed and site indexed but it will not pull plurals only exact matches. So when searching for dog it will only pull up dog and dogs will pull up dogs. Minium index length is set to two now and still nothing.

Yes, I did the re-index. I am running some search tests.
In the docs it says to install in Drupal modules folder I have it installed in the sites/all/modules folder with the rest of the contributed modules. I was not sure if this needed to go in to the drupal/modules folder like the old jquery update module.

I disabled the module then re-enabled and re-indexed and all is working now.
