Default privacy not working

I have the default setting for a number fields set to no body but the fields still appear. The fields can be set to private individually but the default vale seems to be ignored.
The following is set in the variables table so I guess that the value is set correctly.
cckfp_userdetails_default s:1:"n";
The page displaying the fields (when it should not) is a content profile page. What else can I tell you?

Fixed in -dev. I meant to commit this sooner, as it's not a major change. Sorry for the delay.
