Description
On most login forms, firefox will give you the option to remember the login on certain pages, but this isn't working with the login in a popup. Any ideas?

Yup same here, I had the same issue when I was using thickbox.

This might be a firefox issue. I notice this when I use the DIGG.com website since they have a modal overlay as well. Regular login page remembers user/pass, but the modal version doesn't

Well I don't know, but in the other issue about password someone tried the netvibes.com website where they have similar modal window and over there password is saved in firefox.

I checked it also doesn't works in chrome.
