Not sure if this bug is OG or Notifications / messaging but.
I have messaging set to "simple" (use drupal mail api)
when joining a group I get
warning: mail() expects parameter 3 to be string, array given in path/site/includes/mail.inc on line 193.

Another comment - perhaps the notification email stuff shouldnt appear under the organic groups settings unless the messaging/notification/organic groups notifications modules are installed, as a user might get the impression that basic "join group" notification might work without.

This seems to be an interaction between the reroute email module and the organic groups notification or perhaps the whole notification/messaging code and the reroute email module. Will reassign to reroute email.
