I ahve installed Theme editor & When I go to the Home › Administer › Site building › Themes I see the theme in the Theme Editor but I ony see .info. Is there a way to edit the .tpl? Just trying to sutomize the theme.

You should be able to edit all .tpl.php files if you have given yourself the proper permissions(or if you are logged in as $user 1). If you are only seeing the .info file that means that is all the editor is seeing when it scans the directory. Even if you could write to the .tpl.php files they would still be listed, just as un-writable.
