Link to Node Invalid URL

Hi,
I am a recent newcomer to Drupal, I am using a multisite setup (running from a single codebase) , I have 5 sites that are running the WYSIWYG module with TinyMCE and LinkToNode but for some reason I have just installed a new site using the same modules but the Link to Node module opens the window but the URL is different e.g for the previous sites (the correct version) the URL is "..index.php?q=linktocontent/node&z" but for some reason on my new site the URL in the popup window is "...index.php?q=linktocontent/node&q" so for some reason it is appending a q instead of a z.
Any ideas why this is happening?
