How Do I Upgrade Properly?

Theres only one really major difference, and even that wont have an effect afaikt - which is the Conditional Styles module is now built into the theme rather than requiring you to download and install it separately. After some thinking about this I can see its easier and more convenient to have it built in.

As long as you haven't hacked the core theme then its just a matter of replacing the core theme, it should not affect your subtheme at all.

I have added some new selectors to make it easier to theme Gpanels and Gpanel blocks, but thats about it.

In fact you can take it as read that for the entire Genesis2 lifespan, upgrading the core theme will not break your subtheme.

I will try to get some docs up, your right on with that one, sorry but my time is a bit stretched the past weeks.

BTW, I will have to make another release either today or tomorrow, I found a rather bad oversight in the new genesis_DARK subtheme that I cannot live with going out into circulation (I forgot to style "unpublished comments and nodes", so they have a yellow background and not dark gray), but like I say, thats a trivial upgrade and will not break anything.

I updated to 2.3 But my subtheme is still showing 2.1.

Do I simply update the genesis.info file with the new version stamp?

Yes, or you can use your own version stamp if you like.
