Automatic Increment of Stock Upon Adding Product

Hello All,

I'm currently using the latest release of the Ubercart Module: http://drupal.org/project/ubercart. This adds the "product" content type to my installation. I also have the Stock as well as the Stock Management with Attributes module: http://drupal.org/project/uc_multi_stock. Is there any way for me to set up a way for products to automatically have a stock number of one by default? (supposed to manually settings the stock number)

-If so would there also be a way for a stock number of a product to automatically increment by one upon creation, say for example: I have a product with a SKU number of 0001 and I add another product with the same SKU number. Is there anyway for the system to be able to detect the identical SKU numbers and automatically increment the stock.

Any insight or leads into this topic would be most helpful.
