Description

Hi

I am trying to build a block view that shows the user name, some context profile and the last update of the user, but when I include the Latest Status Update field in User group, Views 2 reports this error:

Error: handler for users > latest_update doesn't exist!

Any idea?

Thanks

I can't find these three files in the module, are they missing or pending?

facebook_status_views_handler_field_latest_update.inc
facebook_status_views_handler_field_latest_update_date.inc
facebook_status_views_handler_sort_latest_update.inc

Hmm, you're quite right; something is either wrong or missing here. I'm going to have to dig around a bit to find out where exactly the problem is, and it may be a few days before that gets corrected.

In the mean time, just use the normal status field and the Last Status per User filter. In all likelihood, the Latest Update field shouldn't exist at this point and will be removed.

Please stick to the topic of the issue. Open a new support request if absolutely necessary, but only after reading the documentation and investigating your question yourself.

Hey Ice,

My issue is that I'm creating a listing of users with content profiles so I'm listing them as nodes (with user picture and content profile fields attached) and the only available handler for status (available but missing to a node view list) is Latest Update field.

That is unfortunate. And unrelated. And entirely avoidable, I think, with a user listing that shows node information. And also quite unlikely to be fixed unless you happen to feel like writing a patch for it.

K, thanks Ice. One of the reasons behind content-profile is to tie nodes to users and offer a lot of the views/cck power that are only available when for nodes. I'll try to find a way around it. It would be nice to be able to show statuses on nodes that users create but I can think of work-arounds for that.

The references to those files have now been removed. They were made redundant by the Last Status per User filter. Thanks.
