Should a module support intra-development updates?
To be clearer, should an update from version 6.x-1.x-dev to the latest 6.x-1.x-dev be supported?
I am asking this because there is a module that reports to not support intra-development updates, and that should be uninstalled before installing the latest version 6.x-1.x-dev, with the consequence that all the gathered data is lost.
I just imagine what would happen if the same thing would happen to CCK, with all the custom fields being lost each times the latest development snapshot is copied on a site.
