After i copy and rename settings.php, i then create a database (using webmin) I just kept the username as root and the password blank (because at this point its only a internal test). I then click continue and the install goes to a blank white screen. I've tried everything i know of.. Please help!

BTW.. This is with Fedora 9-

Are you doing this on your localhost? or on a webserver?

If this is localhost, use xampp, It works great.

I still have this issue.. SQL is running.. goes blank
