Description

I assume it doesn't integrate with calendar and other date events?

It would be great if I can create an event (ex. like described here: http://mustardseedmedia.com/podcast/episode27) like birthday and have it displayed on calendar and in TDiH modules.

Maybe anyone have done anything like this?

The module won't support this currently.

I have views integration almost ready to go in Drupal 6. You could build something like calendar produces but it would require heavy theming. Building a list style display should be easy, though.

The challenge with Calendar integration is most calendars want to take the year into account. For this kind of situation, you only want the month and day.

I'll keep this in mind and take a look after I get Views integration out the door. It would definitely be cool to have a calendar display.

I've looked every where for a few hours and ended up here, I see this module as the solution. I think the module ought to be called Reoccurring events (spelled correctly). If you've integrated it with views well calendar is a view so perhaps it might work out of the box. I'm surprised the date module doesn't handle this, is such a simple and obvious feature. It ought to be like (All day) but rather (Every day or month or year). The date module could do this if Until was not mandatory.

Right now there is no solution at all and I'm a bit desperate for one.

How are things going with calendar views integration? If you're stuck perhaps I can help or get others to help. It's an obvious feature, calendars and historic events go hand in hand.
