Advanced search tutorial.

Does anybody know of any tutorials for an advanced search form? I've looked around for the past day and just haven't found anything at all.. I understand that an advanced search is highly customised and the one used for a tutorial obviously wouldn't fit for the majority of sites, but I'm having some problems just getting on up and running in views...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
