Hi,

I installed jCarousel Lite module and followed all the instructions, but when I add a view, 'jCarousel Lite View' 'view type' does not appear.

Instructions are here:
http://drupal.org/node/389998

How to fix this issue?

Thanks

Verify that you have the required jquery_plugin and jquery_update modules installed properly. If so, you may wish to post to the module's issue queue. Also note, that the module is still listed at "alpha".

Thanks for the reply, I'll check the jquery_plugin and jquery_update.

The same can be achieved with http://www.drupal.org/project/viewscarousel
There is a great video tutorial link on the same page. Although the documentation is well written.

Its fairly simple and worked fantastic for me.

Try the new version of jCarousellite, it should have this issue fixed.

I've downloaded and installed the latest (well, the latest from drupal.org) version of this module, plus the jquery_plugin and views modules. They install without error. However, I am still seeing exactly the same problems as the original reporter - there's no 'jCarousel Lite View' from the Views 'view type' drop-down.
Also, in the views->add page (/admin/build/views/add) the selector is a set of buttons, not a drop-down. Plus, the documentation #2 refers to Administer -> User management -> Access control. There isn't one, there's only a permissions pagw, which seems to do what is required.
Would I be right in thinking that the documentation hasn't been updated and still refers to an old (drupal 5?) install?
