How do I enter text along with a video when using Video Filter

Issue Summary

I'm using Drupal 6.4

Hi, I finally was able to get the Video Filter module working and I can get the video into a blog. However, I can't successfully resize the video from within the content page and only can resize the video via the module configuration. I also cannot successfully add any text or other code to the content--the only thing that remains is the video tag.

For example: in the content I put:

[video: http://www.vimeo.com/blahblahblah]

text

Once I hit preview, the video appears but the "text" disappears. I have tried multiple combination's of the filter config for the video input filter. Any thoughts would help!
