phptemplate_links problems

Hi all,

it's impossible to use the theme with "menu trails" module, due to the same declaration function ("phptemplate_links" in template.php).
Ok, I could write the same issue for that module :-), anyway there is another problem with "phptemplate_links" function: it's impossible to use with "panels" module (v. 3.0 beta 2), because the following problem appears:
