It does not seem this project is being maintained, if not I would like to volunteer.

Using the standard practices I need to wait two weeks and I can take over the project if no one responses.

Someone was supposed to, but seems that they are not. I would prefer if I remain with credit for the module.. it seems lame that Drupal.org wont allow co-owners of a project, I dont mind granting cvs access at all though

You can maintain as the project owner...and just add me as a co-maintainer (cvs access). That would be great!
