I have to update a high volume site that has not been updated in quite a while. The site uses this module, but 5.x-1.8. What might I need to watch out for when bringing up-to-date?

Be sure that you perform your upgrade in testing environment to be sure nothing goes wrong. also backup your data in multiple copies because one copy of backup is just not enough when dealing with important live data.

Thank you, Oleg. That much I know. I am building a whole new site for the upgrade because they also want to change the domain name.

I was looking for any kind of module-specific "gotcha" type stuff to watch out for.

Nothing comes to mind, several people tested the 1.8 -> 3.0 upgrade path and it worked. ever since that test was performed *nothing* changed in the module so the upgrade should work for you as well.
