No way to enter custom css path and file after installing nice menus

After installing nice menus, I find that there is no place on the theme global settings page to enter a path to a custom css file.
The them is Aquia Slate. Does this sound more like the theme's problem? Is there any other method provided (without hacking the code) to instruct nice menus to use a different css file?
