Hi

I'm unable to post to my site using MarsEdit (an XML-RPC client for OSX). Whenever I try to do it, I get the following error:

Can’t post for [mysite] because the server reported an error: You do not have permission to save this post as a draft. Please publish it instead.

The funny thing is that I'm not trying to post as a draft, but as 'Published' instead. Of course, permissions for BlogAPIa are enabled for my role. Actually, I cannot even post via XML-RPC as the site admin.

I'm using MarsEdit to post to other Drupal 5.x and 6.x sites and I don't have the above problem.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

The core blogapi is, to be frank, primitive and inadequately tested. This project may help.
