It would be pretty nice if there was a default block which would show "You have a new friend request from: @user". I don't know if you can do this using Views but it surprised me that there was nothing available by default in the module.

Hi,

I am 99.9% sure this can, and should, be done by views.
The module philospphy is to do "as little as possible". The only available blocks are the ones that couldn't be done by views. Anything else... should be Views!

Marius: maybe e should have a default view for this?

Yup that works. I'm not sure how to do this..but I know I can if I search and stuff. I definitely think a default view should be added for this.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if this has been taken any further.
I am looking at how I can do this with views myself and amd really not sure.
I think a block the hold all requests would be perfect.
