I love your navigation on the demo site. How do I get items in to the navigation? Also, do you have theme documentation?

The navigation is explained in another issue queue and on the demo site too: http://arthemia.theraggedyedge.co.uk/node/8

What documentation are you talking about? what is needed?

I assume the information on the demo site was sufficient.

can you help me on this... my site www.startuplab.net

i did what you said (i think) and only code is showing up. I created a block with the content which is showing.

What input format did you use? (I cannot see the block so cannot tell what is wrong.)

You need an input format for the block that allows <div> elements and also specifying css. I use the full inout format without the html corrector on the demo site.

Hi my navigation bar is not showing up. I understand how to add menu items and they are there but the CSS or image is not showing up. Any clues? The site is thriftyandgreen.com thanks

You seem to have a plain list of items in the region, or used an input format that strips the relevant tags.

Change the input format to full and use the following page to guide you:

Thank you for your amazingly fast response. It is my first time with drupal. I love the theme and am now at that page but the category block add jumped out at me in the meantime. So thanks for this and I will work on tryin to figure that out.

I am sorry but I do not see where to change my input format to full.

does the user/role have permission to use the full input format? normally there will be a drop down fieldset below the textarea where the user can select the input formats available to it.

well you see the only way to work with the menu is to use the input form so far that i can see I am looking for your suggestion. the most ridiculous thing that I can see is that in order to make your own menu or the list you saw I had to disable the rest of the admin menu. Does not seem very smart. hmm so I am back to enabling everything and trying to figure out how to input full html and then where do I get the code that has the main nav in it is the question ? Thanks again

Wait, I think I was confusing the category ribbon with the navigation menu. Sorry. the input format is about something totally different.

Have you put the new menu in the correct place, in the menu region?

If you do not want to disable the menu items of an existing menu, you can create a new custom menu and code the links into there, that way the admin/navigation menu will still be usable elsewhere as is without modification.

thanks again I will make a new menu. On the other hand no there is no block called menu to assign the navigation to. So that would be an issue. I am actually overall confused as to why the menu never showed up. Which it did not btw. Is this something that is meant for me to have to find and set up like this? Or is there some bug here I did not get the fix for? thanks

Yes I think this is the pertinent issue. In any of the default themes the nav is just there and if you add a category via the input form it shows there in the themed style. This theme is not doing that. This leads me to follow up on this and ask why is that? In my mind it should behave as these do not some other way. Am I missing something or is my download flawed? The download flawed. Seems that it is not to be rude. I just want to solve the issue. Thank you for your responses so far and appreciate your attention.

ok i enabled the search box and the main nav bar at least appeared. However in the GUI to assign where the Navigation should go in the page does not contain any relevant item to assign it to. Such as navigation or nav or anything of the sort nor does any block of that show up in the configured blocks when accessing the area for the first time. And looking at the page source there shows the proper div tag "page bar" under nav bar. this is of course empty as I have not been able to put anything in there as I do not have the faintest idea how to override this. Any help ... there is no page bar to choose from in the assign drop down nor is it editable or assignable in the view when entering the block page. thanks
