Feedapi and cck fields

digital006 - June 15, 2009 - 20:58

I'm using feedapi to take items of an rss feed and convert them to nodes. My rss feed looks like:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<rss version="2.0">

        <link>http://www.tvrage.com/</link>

</rss>

I'd like to link the date and time to a cck field for the relevant show. e.g. true blood data and time is inherited from the previous item. Is this possible with feedapi/feed element mapper? or would I have to create a custom module to parse the data in the correct format?

Any input/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Mike

Sorry for the late update,

Sorry for the late update, I've played around with feedapi a bit more and I can't find a way of doing it. I'm currently in the process of writing my own module to do this but struggling really the node_save function.
