Hi,

I have drupal 6.12 with administration theme set to Garland, I installed Basic and enabled it as default theme keeping Garland as administration theme. When editing blocks I have this problem, the theme displayed is only Garland even when I click on the basic button (tab) it still Garland displayed.

Any help about it ? I guess like in the last beta version it should be Basic displayed when I click on basic and Garland display when I click on Garland.

Thanks,

Very strange... But I don't think that this is related to basic... Could you test with another theme ?

Hi,

I tried with another theme "pushbutton", and you're right it's not related to basic. We got the same problem on another drupal installation.

Any idea ?

- Do you have the lastest drupal install ?
- Do you have any custom module dealing with blocks ?
- Do you have all latest version of modules ?
- Any contributed module that deal with blocks and theme ?

I'd try deactivating modules one by one and see which one triggers the problem, and then contact the developper after checking the issue list.

Try upgrading Drupal to the latest version, 6.17. This seems like an issue non-related to Basic as couzinhub mentioned. It seems more like a core issue unless you have modules enabled that play with the theming layer quite a bit.
