Option not to show on create account page, with opportunity to choose terms from the dictionary on some other page, I think, would be convinient too. You have very usefull things in your plans, and I am looking forward eagerly for the new features to come.

I agree this this would be a useful feature, especially when using tags for supplementary data that need not necessarily be collected at registration time.

I agree, this would be a nice addition. On a related note the module should respect all category settings including required and multiple select. These values are easy to obtain and should be assigned to the form element the module outputs.

There was another issue for that; and this feature has now been implemented.

I think that it is similar to #754642: Remove some vocabularies from the register page, which is merged with #656428: Multiple vocabularies assigned to abitrary profile categories. There are some workable code in the both issues.
