Hello,
what are the advantages of the TAC module against the TAC lite module?
I know the advantages of TAC lite (no new tables in the database, TAC per User and not only per role) but I wonder, what exactly could be a reason to use TAC... In other postings I've read that it is more complex- but in what points?
For any hints or experiences I would be very thankfull...

TAC controls edit and create access too
TAC Lite only allows you to control which roles can view content based on taxonomy terms. TAC allows you to control which roles can edit and create content too.
I've successfully used TAC previously, but I hit a problem last time when it was still in version 6.x-1.x-dev. So I tried this module: http://drupal.org/project/term_permissions in combination with TAC Lite, and that worked well.
The full release of TAC 6.x-1.0 is out now, so it should work fine. Still, I would stick with TAC Lite if all you want to do control view access.
Thank you very much! In the
Thank you very much! In the current project I have to control the creation as well, so now I know, that TAC lite wouldn't be enough. I will try out the full resease of TAC and have a look on the other mentioned module as well.

TAC is working well now
I decided to go back to using TAC, after its full release, and it's working well now. Better to use one module than two.
