While the default freelinking mode works fine, specifying any non-default freelink mode is broken. The final link is correctly processed only for each indicator text (not each plugin).

For example, my NID plugin behaves like so:

[[n:14]]
Freelinking Settings
[[node:14]]
Freelinking Settings
[[nid:14]]
Freelinking Settings

I discovered the same behavior with the default freelinking plugins.
