New Flash Video Chat Module for Drupal : AVChat 3

AVChat 3 Module for Drupal 5 and 6 allows the users of your Drupal web site to chat in real time with audio, video and text. It supports private and public video streaming, text chat and rooms! Users can also share files, images and YouTube movies inside the video chat application.

The Module seamlessly integrates with any Drupal 5 and 6 site, registered users are automatically logged in the video chat. Access to the video chat and its features can also be restricted for each Drupal Role (user level) in particular.

Some of the features:

  1. Public and private video chat support
  2. Create your own public and private rooms
  3. IM other users
  4. Share files and images with other users and with rooms
  5. Editable emote icons and sounds
  6. Kick and ban users from the admin interface
  7. Limit free video time/day and other features for certain user roles (user levels)
  8. The module automatically recognizes the username of the member and logs him in the chat
  9. Live bandwidth usage display for users and for the entire media server

The AVChat 3 Module for Drupal now works with Flash Media Interactive Server from Adobe but versions for Red5, Wowza and rtmpd will be released soon!

I see no mention of a software license-- either for the avchat application or the drupal module. Can you please clarify the software licensing? What license is the application? What license is the module?

About the license

The actual video chat software is under a commercial license. The sources are not available.
The Drupal module code however is not encrypted so you can modify it, update it, etc... to better fit your needs!

Thanks for replying-- i figured the video chat part was a commercial license. But you still didnt answer the question about the drupal module-- it's my understanding all drupal modules must be GPL but I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the faq or the website.
