Hi,

I know this won't be an issue with activity 2.0/views 2 combos (which I'm totally excited about) but with 1.2 the "User Relationships" block shows some double activity - at least for me. Also, not sure if this should be put up in the UR issue thread.

I'm using one such UR block with a single user relationship enabled (one-way, "follow") and since it shows user/user-affected content as well as UR content all sorts of duplications occur. So for instance, using facebook_status, user submits a status to the "account" page (of another user) and the status will show up twice in the activity feed: once as user->"status"->@->user and then user->"status"->on->user. Or when a user who you have a UR with comments on a node you posted the same thing happens. I know with views you could us "distinct: yes" but I was wondering if there was a modular way of eliminating this kind of duplication. Sorry if this post itself is a duplication - I didn't find one quite like it already :)

You need to set the Distinct to True in your Views page.

Assuming you downloaded activity-2.x-dev.tar.gz

Oh sorry, did I file this under 2.0? I meant to post this under 1.2. I was wondering if there was a way to accomplish this with version 1.2 simply using the activity 1.2 UR blocks. I'm aware of the distinct functionality in views 2.

Setting Distinct to True is done under Advanced Settings - under Query Settings. at /admin/build/views/edit/all_activity
