I see there are not .pot files and I don't know how much work it would be to create them, but I'd like to ask if that could be done. Once that's done I'd like to translate to Dutch.

I forgot to tag the translation files with BETA7 release. I will not be able to fix it before 10 days.
However, you can dowload the dev-snapshots and you will find the .pot file as well as a French .po file.
