Conflict with SimplestGMap module

Wondering if anyone else has a conflict with the meta tags module when using the SimplestGMap module.

The SimplestGMap module works perfectly until meta tags is enabled, once enabled the maps stop showing up and instead you get the coordinates where the map should be. Ive tested that its these two modules that are causing the issue, if i disable meta tags the maps come back

What could it be?
Has anyone else had this issue? (i realise SimplestGMap isnt a widely used mod)
Does anyone have any suggestions for things to check to resolve the issue?
