hey all - I've been following the development of druBB, and I'm really looking forward to helping to test it out once there's a stable version. We're in the process of setting up a rather large site that's set to launch late this summer, so I hope druBB can either be rolled in before then, or implemented in version 2. Currently our forums are based on AF.
In any case, after much fiddling with WYSIWYG editors, I settled on TinyMCE over the others. I've noticed that druBB seems to be centered around BUEditor, and I was just wondering what the support for TinyMCE would be like.
Also, I'm open to being convinced that BUEditor is better, so what specifically is the benefit of BU vs Tiny, and why was it chosen as the default?

merlinofchaos commentedSo far as I know, we're not planning on doing anything with TinyMCE at this time, as the popular forum software we're looking at doesn't seem to use anything as big as MCE.. It should be possible to go in, turn off bueditor and and turn on tinymce after the fact. You'll need to adjust the filters and so on, but Id on't *think*' it'll be an issue.
