Wrong URL rendering

Description
I've been trying this module today and noticed that all links look like http://example.com/sites/default/files/ites/default/files/file.jpg
Do not why but it duplicates "ites/default/files" part of URL
please advise

is this module abandoned?

I'm seeing something similar. But essentially the module is not working at all.
It shows every file as "not found in database". The displayed url is showing "iles/...." instead of "files/..."
See attached screenshot example.
