IP Address from mobile device shows correct flag but gives country match error

Description
With a mobile device (tested on both BlackBerry and iPhone in the USA), the flag shown is correct US flag with the Petition module however the error about Country of Petition signature does not match the IP country. When turning off the ip2cc for that petition, mobile devices works fine. Drupal version is 6.12.

I'm not really sure I understand! Please can you clarify what the problem is.

Closing due to 5 months of inactivity and no update or answers to my question. The petition module has been recently updated so I can only assume this is no longer an issue.
