Description

I created a path and then installed the module. The redirect never worked so I deleted the module. Now when I try to re-create the node with the same path as was created with the module it always give me a not found error.... I need this alias. Is there some file I need to edit to enable this path again?

How did you 'delete' the module? Are you still using core's "Path" module?

I removed all redirects, disabled the module and then deleted it from my server. I am still using the path module as well as pathauto.

Would you mind specifying the full (absolute) URL alias that you're trying to create the node with? I'd like to run it through http://www.seoconsultants.com/tools/headers.asp

If I type in http://sitkasurfboards.com/shop It automatically changes the URL to: http://sitkasurfboards.com/shop/ and says "The requested page could not be found."

Are you using Global redirect by any chance? If you are no longer using Path redirect on your site and the problem is persisting, there is no way that the Path redirect module can be to blame.
