I need to lock certain image galleries with a password so that a specified user can access it. This is for bridal shoots where the bride does not want her hubby to see the images before the wedding and also for youth sports photos where parents want their child's privacy protected. If anyone knows a way to do this please let me know.

Which of the available access control modules have you looked at so far?

tac_lite
tac_lite looks like it will be perfect as it allows individual user level access to specific nodes. I am just not understanding how to use it. I installed it but can not figure out how to configure it to block access to certain nodes.
