I would like a dedicated module with feed back of broken links thumbail of the site and so on. I understand flexynode is for small application and would'nt have that sort of things...

Hi,

I'm looking for the same thing. The way it looks this (http://drupal.org/node/24719) is the module that is most likely to fit our needs.
That is for v4.7 though. No thumbnail support as far as i know for now.

I just tried it but it makes my server crash when trying to reach administration page... did someone tryed it?

my version drupal 4.6.5

That particular module is marked as "Experimental" for version 4.7

Since you are running 4.6 i would not expect it to work at all.

Not entirely the same, but close.
I used the weblink module and the directory module together, along with a LOT of playing around and hacking the modules, and it all worked out.

thanks, it looks close from what I am looking for but I don't know about admin interface, when a site is submited does the decision of the webmaster auto notified to the submitor?

I don't see for eauch link a possibility to makes comments or votes for a visitor else repporting a breaking link, and ther is no image of the link.
What is great also is a frame when following a link with feed back option.

I speak about all that wich are function of xoops module caling weblink.

Hi Syren,

I am working with drupal 4.6.6. and php5. I can't get weblink module fixed.
Is your weblink/directory module (it looks fine) php5 compatible. If so can you winzip it or tell me where I can find it?

Thanks in advance,
Martijn

This is exactly the type of niche site I want to make, just a different subject. I figured I would have to use the weblink and directory modules to do it in 4.6. Syren's reference to hacking things is making me nervous, though. I'm not a programmer. Syren, could you post the hacks you used so a less technical person could do them, or are they optional?
