Following how you integrate exif metadata, I added a function in Exif Class to do the same with iptc metadata.
patch provided on Exif class and Exif Module (admin page and merge of metadata fields in nodeapi hook).

Found a bug in the first version. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The merge of IPTC and EXIF could published wrong value in some case (ex : datetime field defined in IPTC and EXIF) or make field desapeear because of invalid section.
