Not sure if this is a InsertViews issue or Views but as all insert views users are usin viws, i have a better audience:)
A bit of history
upgraded an old D5 site that was running Views 5x1.5.
All modules were taken to the latest D5 version, and the site then moved to D6 with all latest modules
Whats happening
I have created a view where i have default and page views.
Viewing the output at the URL of the page view
If i change the view from node to field or vice versa i see a change.
If i do the same from a node that uses insert view, either for the default view or page view inserted, or just using the default command, the content doesn't immediately change, in fact i have yet to catch if and when it does.
Views i s not set to cach, nor drupal, even tried clearing them. Browser is not set to cache, nor are the severs (tried a proxy)
Any suggestions?

John

pasqualle"Caching mode" on admin/settings/performance page?
Does clearing the cache on the admin/settings/performance page changes the view?

Anonymous (not verified) commentedHi Pasqualle
I tried performance caching,
views caching
ISP caching
PC caching
what was odd if i looked at the page created from the view , it would change when i made views settings changes, only the insert_view version showed old data.
I installed an earlier version of views 2, and an old insert view from an old installation which i know works, Deleted all the views etc, nothing appeared to make any difference. until just after 1600 GMT when changes appeared instantly
Now do i believe my ISP was not caching the pages with insert view ? Well i had even tried a proxy server . So someone in the chain between my host and myself wash caching, but who? i guess we will never find out.
So we can call this one fixed
