We are currently looking for a Drupal web developer to work on a global contemporary art networking site.
The site is a not for profit, artist run, artist community site and we are unable to afford market commercial developer rates - but we do have a funding partner and are currently finalising a deal to fund this important phase of the site development. We are looking to form a long term partnership with an enthusiastic developer for the project.
The site is currently based on Drupal 5.x We have a development server all set up which has a copy of the current live site. The main development involves:
1. Localisation of content - relevant content needs to be displayed according to users (nearest) city.
2. Improved / simplified event listings - as above, localised - but with wider listings available.
4.User profiles need more privacy options - mainly show / hide friends, etc.
5. cosmetic / layout cleanup - some light theme modification
We prefer to work with a developer based in London - or at least the UK as we would like to meet in person.
