dave reidThe user has probably disabled their contact form. I can still access your contact form since you probably still have it enabled. Same with mine.
Anonymous (not verified) commentedSorry for the trouble. The access of the "contact form" when the user is himself isn't permitted.

aacraig commentedI just received this email from the Drupal site:
aacraig,
mikenotmike (http://drupal.org/user/280860) has sent you a message via your contact form (http://drupal.org/user/118575/contact) at drupal.org.
If you don't want to receive such e-mails, you can change your settings at http://drupal.org/user/118575.
Clicking on the link indicated (http://drupal.org/user/118575/contact) gets me an "access denied" message. If I cannot access this page, good usability dictates that the link shouldn't appear in the email. Instead, I would suggest a link to the message itself, if such a page exists (I can't find one) or failing that, no link at all.
