Can I use Profile module for this or do I need to use Content Profile?

In working for a school district, I have a Profile field for School Board Members that indicates the District they govern. Each District has a map associated with it. Is there a way, using Profile module, to link to the maps using the Profile field I have setup? or would I only be able to do that by using Content Profile and creating a CCK type for 'District' that would include a filefield link for the maps?
