I installed Drupal 4.7 and installed Gmap.... I have a few glitches.
1. My webpage http://www.fundmytravel.com/gmapmacro ...the map overlaps the text and there is nothing much I can do with the map because of it.
2. Is it possible to have more than one maps on a page?

Regarding item 1 - I'm not sure what the problem is and I will try and look into it later. (I'm currently on vacation without access to a computer). In the meantime you can use the macro creator on http://webgeer.com/gmapmacro and use the macro created on that page to insert into your nodes. I can suggest you try changing the defualt height and width to something like 200px and 200px and see if that helps. (I'm not sure why it isn't automatically adding the "px". It is supposed to do that.)

As for item 2 you can have as many maps on one page as long as each one has a unique "id".

This question can wait till you finish your vacation...It is a great module and if you need any help from me ...I am willing to help to develop this module further.
Another problem I am facing is even with using webgeer macro I cannot get the lines and markers to show on the actual page..

The pest again,
Tried adding 200 , it did not work. So I tried adding 200px in the box and it worked !!!

Glad to hear that it worked. That is a bug it should work without the "px" so I will change this to a bug report and fix it when I'm back home.

With regard to the lines and markers, I hope you got that working. It should be noted that for the lines to work in internet explorer you have to edit the theme's page to add a VML thing. That should be explained in the "README.txt"

(It works in firefox without that and I see a line overlay when I look at: http://www.fundmytravel.com/node/5 in Firefox)

James ...you rock...I like the way you answer the questions ..to the point and induce the user to do something which will help them in the long run. Thank you for the quick replies ..
Every thing working fine ....It was problem with VML which is sorted now ...
I am thinking of having place names in gmap macro instead of having longitude latitudes ....Is there any ideas to work around it ...Not being greedy:-)

It worked without "px" for me too, thanks a bunch for this you saved me form hiring a dev to fix this ;D
