I recently realized that I can't login to my own drupal site using Safari and I am trying to seek a solution on the drupal.org site. Then I tried to login to Drupal.org using Safari and it didn't even work here. Perhaps someone can try to fix it on this site and then let us know what you did so we can fix ours?

Here is a link to others that have the same issue, nothing worked for me: http://drupal.org/node/109775

thanks

Are you using Safari for Windows, or Safari for Mac?
I am using Safari on two different Mac, and I am able to log in in my site, and here on Drupal.org. I used version 3, version 4 beta, and version 4 for Mac, and version 4 for Windows; in all the cases I have always been able to log in on both the sites.

The equation "I am using Safari, therefore I have a problem" does not seem to be always be verified.

The issue linked to is from over two years ago and is for Drupal 5.0 and Safari 2.0. Given that I and others are able to login to drupal.org and other Drupal-based Web sites using Safari 3 and 4 just fine, and that drupal.org hasn't run on 5.0 for quite some time, it sounds like this may be an issue with the user's local setup, but really, more information is needed here. Are you able to duplicate this issue on other machines and from other connections? What version of Safari are you running, and have you verified that cookies are enabled?
