Hello,

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Anyway, I wanted to know if there's a way to add a profile field that only administrators could change. I want to add a points field that starts at 0 when people register that admins could edit later when they fulfill certain requirements outside of the website.

If you have Profile module ON in the Core - optional modules, then you can add a field here:
admin/user/profile
There you will find "Visibility" options, choose the option:
Hidden profile field, only accessible by administrators, modules and themes.
