I'm new to drupal, got a few outdated modules, including Views.

How do you update it? Do you just download it and do a tar xfvz ? Extracting it over? Or is there a special process? Thanks.

Lol, what I did wrong was I extracted the new modules in the drupal/modules directory instead of the drupal/sites/all/modules directory...
