Which module and how to do this?

Hi

I want to have a purely html page for my front page, so I can layout exactly the way I want with pictures and links (tables) etc. I don't need to update this page much, if I do I can just modify the html or add another centre region/block. I don't want to have "title", "Sumitted by ...", "read more" etc listed in this page. I am just wondering if these is a module like this just for simple html? or if I use default "page" type and how can I achived this.
