warning: getimagesize(modules/gmap/markers/3) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/public_html/proto/modules/gmap/gmap_markerinfo.inc on line 91.

This module appears every time I run cron or edit a node with location info.

DOH!!! I've spent a couple of hrs slowly debugging this, I'd get the error EVERY TIME I cleared the cache.

The problem was there was a php.ini file in my markers folder, and all the subfolders of markers(in small, big, etc..)

there should be no need for a php.ini file here so delete them and the problem goes away!! Simples!

I just had the same problem with the D7 version of this module.

Notice: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: Read error! in _gmap_get_icondata() (line 90 of
/public_html/sites/all/modules/gmap/gmap_markerinfo.inc).

Removing all of the .ini files resolved it

The error message said:

Warning: getimagesize(sites/all/modules/gmap/markers/number26.png) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in _gmap_get_icondata() (line 90 of /path_to_site/sites/all/modules/gmap/gmap_markerinfo.inc).

I only had to remove the numbers.ini
